What I love is twofold ... first and foremost, Arachne will run on what most people consider "throw away" machines. That makes my dream of world-wide communication a possibility. (I don't care if people think I'm nuts, btw)
Second, I love the fact that it can be used off-line as a reader ...think of lesson plans being a combination of text, html and graphics. The ability to search within Arachne means that indices and tables of content can be usable options. Even better is the fact that digital text can be more easily translated and 'printed' than any book. And digital text is a helluvahlot cheaper than hardcopy in any form! Picture it -- textbooks on floppy disks, complete with the viewing system!

I've always thought the best feature of Arachne by far is its expandibility, in other words, you can use Arachne to "launch" other applications, sort of like a desktop manager. With a little editing, you can even pass DOS variables to other applications! This means Arachne can be used as a "pseudo-shell" if desired, or a front end for all your DOS Internet applications! C U L8R! <{;-)

I LOVE how after writting a message and hitting the send button, the letter is automatically written to the outbox before sending!
I have checjed the "delete sent mail" button. If the carrier dropped while writting the note its not a problem. Just re-dial and hit "Send mail now"! THEN its automatically deleted.
Very nice!
