Welcome! This is Arachne.virtualave.net, a news and information place for users and developers of Arachne, the webbrowser for DOS. Almost every page is generated by CGI scripts, so are totally dynamic. Since more than one person can post to this site, the content should be more interesting than other homepages.

This site is going through a minor re-design. Some parts of this site were considered too restrictive, so they are being opened up. This includes Chat, where anonymous users can now post. Regular users can also post news (see below) but their posts will only be seen by the general public if they are moderated up by a root user or a news moderator.

All this text will eventually be shortened, and AVA will primarily be updated through online forms, instead of uploading the usual way. :)

Note that AVA is currently a work in progress!

This website is coming along nicely. Already there are large parts completed. A few more bugs to sort themselves out but other than that full steam ahead!! We are entering phase 2 testing, making sure everything that worked on http://hoody.penguinpowered.com works on virtualave.net :) You should be able to login and post to the love and hate lists at least for now, and go into the chat. I hope everything is fully compatible with Arachne :)
